• THE WORK
• The Staff Software Engineer will join the Launchers Software Development group reporting to the Launchers & C-UAS Engineering organization.
• The candidate will support the maintenance and modification of multiple MK41 Vertical Launching System software products in Moorestown, New Jersey for the Sensors, Effectors, and Mission Systems business.
• The candidate will be initially assigned as a software lead for a prominent launcher program, responsible for deliverables for multiple software applications in an overall suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other major with applicable coursework
• At least 9 years professional experience in software development
• Experience with or knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Demonstrated ability leading cross-discipline engineering teams

Responsibilities

• include technical team leadership, Earned Value and Control Account Management, frequent customer interactions, quarterly in-progress reviews, and risk and change management.
• The candidate should additionally be able to directly support software development activities as business conditions dictate.
• The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), software configuration management, real-time embedded software development, and software integration and test.
• Please Note:
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
