Job summary

DESCRIPTION Amazon is seeking a highly motivated Investigative Analyst to join our world-class Amazon Security organization and work within the open-source intelligence (OSINT) function of the Enterprise Protection Program to help investigative stakeholders with open-source research and analysis to support the mitigation of insider risk and workplace incident management incidents.

Qualifications

  • Perform deep dive analysis of internal and external datasets to target and identify evidence, industry indicators, or context specific to unique cases.
  • Collaborate with partner teams in the intelligence community, internal and external to Amazon.
  • Identify and produce metrics to measure effectiveness of analytic capabilities and data to drive business decisions.

  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience as an analyst/investigator/journalist supporting open-source research and analysis
  • 2+ years’ experience working in the private sector supporting investigations (i.e.
  • investigative journalism, insider risk, workplace incident management, etc.)
  • PREFERRED

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex and confidential investigations, providing timely and fact-based reporting to partners and leadership.
  • Effectively partner with teams across Workplace Incident Management, Business Conduct & Ethics, Global Investigations, and others necessary in support of investigations.
  • Establish, document, and refine standard operating procedures and internal best practices for investigative functions.
