Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Engineer (Senior) Location: Ashburn, Virginia 2 days a week Required Clearance: DHS/CBP or TS clearance or clearance Sponsorship Must be USC RATE: 150K-175k per annum We're looking for a highly skilled Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer to design, build, and maintain our core cloud infrastructure.

• Proven experience as a Platform, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• 8+ years of working with Cloud
• Existing DHS/CBP or TS clearance is a plus
• Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• You'll be the go-to expert for all things related to GCP's foundational services, ensuring our platform is scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud.
• Manage core GCP services, including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), subnets, firewalls, and routing tables.
• Configure and maintain GCP storage solutions like Cloud Storage, Filestore, and Persistent Disk.
• Oversee identity and access management (IAM) to ensure the principle of least privilege is applied.
• Manage and operate cloud-native database services such as Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, and Bigtable, including performance tuning and high-availability configuration.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure costs.
• Manage container orchestration platforms such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure their applications have the necessary infrastructure resources.
